As a response to the current immigration crisis, many of the 2018 MAIP Fellows have band together using their skills to help organizations enact social change. industry&out is a grassroots initiative to help non-profit organizations that lack access to sophisticated marketing assets. Having Fellows in all disciplines, we intend on utilizing our skills to assist non-profits who are involved with immigration advocacy.
We are currently assisting Las Americas Victim Advocacy Center, a non-profit that provides legal aid to low income immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, victims of crime and displaced families. Through our work we hope to bring more awareness to non-profits, like Las Americas, and help make a difference outside of our everyday roles.
As all the work done is pro-bono, industry&out is currently fundraising to cover production costs associated with the work we are creating for Las Americas. We want to ensure that we are able to produce and deliver executions representative of the amazing advocacy work they are doing. Along with production costs, donations will be used to purchase toys and coloring books we are personally delivering to people held in New York’s detention centers. Follow industry&out on Twitter and Instagram and donate using this link!
We can’t make this difference alone. If you are interested in getting involved, donating or learning more, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
